About the Event

Celebrate International Nonbinary Day (July 14) with Enby Day!, a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to honoring and uplifting nonbinary (enby/enbie) voices. Join Diamond Wave and the THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Performance Festival to dive deep into the heart of nonbinary experiences with an engaging panel and performances. First we’ll enjoy resting between the waveforms, an electro-acoustic grounding sound bath by transcriptions01 and GG Torres before we shift to discuss nonbinary identity with a panel discussion. Then we’ll end with a special live performance from nonbinary Afro-Latin hip hop duo Krudas Cubensi.

This event will also feature nonbinary portrait sessions with photographer Shannon Faulise and free food provided by the Merchants Exchange Club.

Gain invaluable insights, foster connections, and celebrate the rich diversity within our community. Whether you identify as nonbinary, an ally, or simply someone eager to learn, Enby Day! welcomes you to learn more about the nonbinary experience and to connect with nonbinary community.

Join us for an unforgettable celebration of authenticity, inclusivity, and love. Mark your calendars and be part of this groundbreaking event on International Nonbinary Day!

GG is currently serving as the Producing Technical Director at the San Francisco experimental dance venue CounterPulse (FKA 848 Performance Space) . You can also hear GG’s sound works in collaboration with cellist Peekaboo in the sound bath series Resting Between the Waveforms and Coraiñia, an improvisational concert alongside Stephanie Hewett and Tyler Holmes. And most recently, a sound design in collaboration with gizeh muñiz vengal and Ernesto Peart Falcón is Islas Breves (2022) and Auiga (2024), movement based world premieres.
