Artist-led Consulting
We partner with working artists to offer consulting services and events for individuals and organizations
Nuanced & Comprehensive Approach
Our approach is informed by lived and professional experience working with and for artists, nonprofits, philanthropic institutions, and our communities. We ground our consulting in engagement, entertainment and education to provide fun and interactive learning opportunities.
Creative Events
Diamond Wave has a long history of creating creative and cultural events. As an organization specializing in bridging gaps amongst LGBTQIA2S+ people and our allies, we want to create a fun and interactive event to entertain and inspire your friends, colleagues, and communities.
Our offerings include:
Drag Happy Hour
60-minute in-person drag show featuring diverse, local queer and trans drag performers
Featuring Bay Area working artists steeped in the history and tradition of drag culture, our Drag Happy Hour will bring the excitement of queer nightlife right into your living room, conference room, etc. We’ll wow you with a fantastic show and help you learn about San Francisco’s rich history as a hotbed of drag and queer culture.
Restorative Masculinities Workshop
90-minute in-person or digital workshop focused on recontextualizing and rebuilding relationships with masculinity
Stemming from Director Vin Seaman’s work with gender and sexuality, this workshop provides embodied opportunities to more deeply understand masculine gender norms and to explore and play with our own understanding of masculinity.
Nonbinary Panel Discussion
60-minute in-person or digital panel discussion exploring nonbinary identity and growing personal and cultural understanding for expansive gender identity
This person-to-person conversation provides foundational understanding of life as a nonbinary person. By centering creative expression and personal experience, we hope to spark greater understanding of and support for nonbinary and gender expansive people.
We’d love to present one of our existing creative events or workshops for you! Or to create an event or workshop reflective of your goals!
