About the Workshop
In the final workshop of the 2021 Spring/Summer series, dancer and performance artist Javier Stell-Frésquez will lead participants through 90-minutes of discussion and movement-based facilitated sharing.
About the Artist
Javier Stell-Frésquez (she/her, he/him) (Piru & Tigua, two-spirit, mix-raced, Xicanx from El Paso, Texas) serves Indigenous communities of the Bay, with the Two-Spirits Powwow. She received a B.S. in Environmental Science with honors in Chican@ Studies from Stanford University. With life-long experience in many dance forms and performance art, she has competed in the voguing House Ballroom Scene. His current multi-media performance projects include Chaac & Yum, a Two-Spirit Dance Project and Mother the Verb.
